GREAT NEWS! $50 TRYOUT FEE HAS BEEN
WAIVED FOR ALL PLAYERS!
Please
read the Tryout information letter linked above for details on the tryouts. The first hour will be for Non-seniors that did
not play varsity last year. Several players from this first evaluation session will be asked to stay for the second
hour session that includes returning varsity players and Seniors.
Based on HPHL registrations, we will only have
a Varsity and one Junior Varsity team for 2010. Player placement will be posted on the website after the two tryout sessions.
Practice will not start until March.
UPDATED REQUIREMENTS FOR TRYOUTS :
1. Registration
with HPHL (should have been done by Jan 15th, link on "links and forms" tab on left side of web page)
2. Registration
with MVHS Athletics and initial payment (should have been done by Jan 15th)
BRING THESE
ITEMS BELOW TO TRYOUTS!
3. Signed USA Hockey Code of Conduct
(bring to tryout, link to form is above)
4. Signed USA Hockey Consent to Treat
(bring to tryout, link to form is above)
5. Signed Non-CHSAA
activity agreement
(bring to tryout, link to form is above)
6. A photocopy of your MVHS ID Card (bring to
tryout)
* You do NOT need your birth certificate, your grade report (until the first practice), or $50 tryout fee
(we have waived the tryout fee for everyone this year)!
Also, you need to be registered on High Plains Hockey website www.highplainshockey.com.

It will cost $25 this year.
All registration materials should already be
in to the MVHS Athletics Department along with your $350 payment. If you do not have this completed, please contact
Chris Paap immediately at the e-mail or phone number above.
NEEDED: Volunteers for banquet committees,
team managers,student managers, and pointstreak administrator.
